Among Auli's unique attractions is its artificial lake, one of the highest man-made lakes in the world, adding a serene touch to the landscape. Other notable sites include Chattrakund and Chenab lakes, which provide picturesque spots worth exploring. As the skiing capital of India, Auli boasts some of the country’s finest slopes, making it a must-visit for winter sports enthusiasts.
Rishikesh, situated on the banks of the sacred Ganges River at the foothills of the Himalayas, is a hub for spiritual seekers and adventure enthusiasts alike. Known for its numerous temples and ashrams, Rishikesh has been a center for yoga and meditation for centuries. The town’s spiritual ambiance attracts visitors from around the world seeking peace and rejuvenation.
Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: In Rishikesh.
This morning, the company driver will pick you up from the Rishikesh railway station or bus station. From there, check in hotel fressup and proceed to explore Rishikesh.
Attraction:
Visit Lakshman jhula, followed by drive to Ram Jhula and walk over the Bridge.
Walk to visit Beatles Ashram and more local attraction.
Evening witness Ganga Aarti Ceremony at Parmarth Ashram or Treveni Ghat.
Evening Explore the Local market on your own.
Optional Activities at additional cost: River Rafting, Flying Fox, Bungee Jumping.
Day 2: Rishikesh to Joshimath.
Attraction:
Devprayag, here witness the confluence of two holy rivers Alaknanda and Bhagirathi River.
Dhari Devi Temple.
Day 3: Joshimath to Auli back to Joshimath.
In the morning, after breakfast, prepare for a day of exploring Auli.
Attraction:
Enjoy the cable car (Ropeway) ride in Auli (At Own Cost).
Visit to Chattrakund Lake.
Excursion to local Village, enjoy and explore the local life, nature.
Evening Explore Local market and enjoy shopping.
Optional: Feel the Adventure on a day trek to Auli Gorson Trek.
Day 4: Joshimath to Rishikesh.
Morning breakfast and check out from the hotel after drive to Rishikesh.
