Detailed Itinerary
Day 1: Rishikesh to Chopta.
Embark on a scenic mountain drive, making occasional stops along the way to refresh and enjoy meals at your own cost. Capture memorable moments with your camera, and enjoy the journey with some light music. As you travel, you’ll pass through notable destinations like Devprayag, Rudraprayag, and Ukhimath, eventually reaching your destination by late afternoon or evening. Upon arrival, check into your pre-booked Swiss camps. Take some time to rest and relax at the campsite, where you’ll be served evening tea, followed by dinner, and then settle in for a restful night’s sleep.
Day 2: Chopta to Tungnath to Chandrashila and back to Chopta.
Altitude: 6,300 ft. (1,920 m) to 9,600 ft. (2,926 m.)
Embark on a gradual trek along a well-maintained path leading to the temple, winding through a landscape rich with diverse flora and fauna, including towering rhododendron and pine trees in expansive meadows. The anticipation of reaching the temple and peak will drive you onward. Upon arriving at the temple, take a moment to rejuvenate, and offer your respects at the world's highest Shiva temple, which is believed to be over 1,000 years old. Continue the trek with a final ascent to the Chandrashila Summit, where you’ll be rewarded with a breathtaking 360-degree view of the Himalayan peaks and a stunning sunset that feels like the cherry on top. Spend some time at the windy summit, capturing unforgettable moments, and then make your way back to Chopta.
Day 3: Chopta to Joshimath.
After breakfast, check out from the hotel and embark on your journey to Joshimath, traveling through the picturesque towns of Gopeshwar and Chamoli. Upon arrival in Joshimath, check in to your hotel. In the afternoon, explore local attractions such as the ancient Kalpavriksha tree, the serene Sankar Math, the sacred Narsingh Temple, and the confluence at Vishnu Prayag. Enjoy the evening at your leisure.
Day 4: Joshimath to Auli back to Joshimath.
In the morning, after breakfast, prepare for a day of exploring Auli.
Attraction:
Enjoy the cable car (Ropeway) ride in Auli (At Own Cost).
Visit to Chattrakund Lake.
Excursion to local Village, enjoy and explore the local life, nature.
Evening Explore Local market and enjoy shopping.
Optional: Feel the Adventure on a day trek to Auli Gorson Trek.
Day 5: Joshimath to Rishikesh.
Morning breakfast and check out from the hotel after drive to Rishikesh.
